About

Casey joins CR lawyers after over a decade of experience practicing in the United States. He began his career as a law firm associate, then became in-house counsel for the world’s largest blueberry breeding and nursery company. After helping the company expand to five continents and build a world class genetics licensing program, he took a break from the law and served as a senior leader at a multinational agriculture research company.

As so many do, he and his family fell in love with our island communities, and he decided to re-engage in the practice of law. Casey has a general business practice focused on the Courtenay and Comox region, where he assists companies with their corporate, commercial, and employment needs, as well as any property and estate planning issues that may arise. He strives to bring an in-house mindset to private practice, and be a general counsel to island companies both big and small.

When not dressed up for work, Casey is exploring his new surroundings with his wife and two kids, trying one of our fine local brews, or working in his garage.
