About

Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Michael is at his best serving the community he grew up in. He joined CR Lawyers LLP as an associate in 2017 after returning to Campbell River to establish a legal practice with a focus on family law which would put his negotiation and advocacy skills to the test. Michael is also an accredited family law mediator where he works to assist parties in resolving their disputes with one another in a collaborative manner outside the Court system.

Michael is focused on assisting clients, whether through litigation or mediation, who are looking to protect themselves at the beginning of, during, or at the end of a relationship. He has extensive experience guiding clients through separation and divorce by addressing all matters relating to parenting arrangements, property division, support payments, and other related issues.

In his free time, Michael has his hands full raising two young children along with his partner Shaylene. Michael and his family feel at home whether they're out exploring forests and beaches or competing with one another at a family board game night.
